Although the crypto winter seems to have taken hold of the markets, the Dogechain team keeps on building. We’ve been working relentlessly to provide our users and builders with a scalable network, and the first step towards this goal was recently achieved.

Last week, we finished upgrading our infrastructure so that our network runs smoothly once again. The dev team is still polishing some of the imperfections of the underlying Polygon Edge code, and we are making progress every day. The blockchain is already fully operational, and soon, these growing pains will be long gone.

The same could be said for the builders on the chain, which haven’t faltered, despite the harsh market conditions. New dApps are popping out on Dogechain every day, each one of them bringing added utility to your precious Dogecoin.

Darkswap

Darkswap is an advanced DEX aggregator on Dogechain, that provides users with the best trading pairs available on the network. This trader-focused aggregator allows users to trade on multiple DEXes present on Dogechain while allowing them to find the best exchange rates and highest liquidity.

Additionally, the platform has a bunch of opportunities and a variety of choices for different DEXes. Moreover, the platform provides Farms, Launchpools, Liquidity Pools so that users can maximize their profits when trading and participating in the burgeoning DeFi on Dogechain. \

To fuel the growth of the platform, Darkswap has created the $DAS ecosystem token, with the purpose of incentivizing the liquidity provision to the DarkSwap platform. Use cases include:

• Free DAS Pool
• DAS Farming
• Referral Rewards
• DAS as currency to join many more parties on DarkSwap

And finally, let’s mention DarkSports, an upcoming sports betting platform that allows you to place wagers on different popular sports as well as e-sport events.

Monos

At first glance, it might seem that Monos’ focus might be to launch an extremely cool NFT collection. However, this is just the cherry on top. This project is one of the strongest tooling providers for Dogechain, all communities included.

Ever since the launch of the Dogechain Monos has been providing telegram analytics, and buy/sell bots to NFT collections and projects. They have released multiple useful additions to the ecosystem, such as their RPC tester that helps users find the best-performing endpoint to conduct seamless transactions on Dogechain.

Word is, if you’ve seen an announcement bot in one of the Dogechain ecosystem communities’ telegrams, there’s a huge chance it was developed by Monos.

Going forward, the Monos community will launch their awesome NFT collection of 10,000 Monos, inspired by some of the ecosystem participants and partners.

In parallel, the team announced the launch of an NFT analytics tool that will allow users to check volumes of NFTs on Dogechain, and provide some much-needed pertinent data for both creators and collectors.

Wrapping up

In addition to these featured projects, we had the chance to meet some of the upcoming builders, like Dogelands and their rogue-lite game that will launch on the chain. Excited to see more of it in one of the next Twitter spaces.
